In Midori, we deliver our boosters through either of the following 2 methods :
Dermo Electro Poration (DEP) :
This is a non-invasive transdermal drug delivery system. It is the world’s only needleless injection. It is a FDA approved device that delivers homogeneous drug to the desired area. DEP increases the skin’s permeability, using a controlled current to open water-based channels. Boosters are delivered through electrical pulses.
How it works:
Dermoelectroporation® increases the skin’s permeability just using some of its water based channels opened by a particular controlled current delivered to the patient and allowing the substances to be absorbed till the hypodermis and muscle membranes.
The system has been FDA approved for the local administration of ionic drug solutions into the body for medical purposes and can be used as an alternative to injections.

Microneedling :
Another method used to deliver our booster is micro needling.
Microneedling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) which works to stimulate the skin’s own internal healing responses to result in a fresher, younger, healthier looking complexion.
How does it work ?
When the skin goes through microneedling, thousands of microscopic needles puncture the skin to create microchannels, which allow deeper product penetration of products. The trauma of skin needling also prompts the derma (a deep layer of skin) to produce more collagen and elastin to heal itself, thus healing skin imperfections along with it.
Downtime: 1-3 days , depending on the depth of needles used and individual’s healing. Some side effects that are possible with microneedling, are immediate swelling, redness and skin flaking.
Frequency: For best results, it is recommended to get at least 3-4 sessions, minimally 4 weeks apart.
